The Magic of Tarot

Tarot is another way to tell the past and the future. Tarot cards are shuffled and laid out in one of a variety of patterns to show a person’s thoughts, desires, events that have taken place in a person’s past or that are presently happening, to answer a question, or to reveal possible future events.
Each card in the tarot deck has a variety of symbolic meanings that have evolved over the years. Most modern tarot decks consist of 78 cards with allegorical representations today used for divination. A typical tarot deck consists of the major arcana, consisting of 22 trump cards (sometimes referred to as keys):
The Fool, The Magician, The High Priestess, The Empress, The Emperor, The Hierophant, The Lovers, The Chariot, Strength, The Hermit, Wheel of Fortune, Justice, The Hanged Man, Death, Temperance, The Devil, The Tower, The Star, The Moon, The Sun, Judgement and The World.
