Welcome

Park Seed Hardiness Zones

Come walk with me through my garden and explore all of the wonders of the world of flowers. Like orchids I am also intrigued with all types of flowers which I will tell you about as we walk.
We will start out in the spring with the tulips in full bloom. There are many types of spring bulbs that will bring your garden a live; many must be planted in the fall to produce their bright spring flowers.
The strong fragrance of the Wisterias is noted as the first buds begin to open in the spring. It is very bare at this time and as the flowers fade the leaves appear. This plant can be grown as a tree or a very large vine. I love this plant and after many years of trying I now have two that blooms every year for me.

The large petals of the bearded irises stand tall like multi colored flags and are very showy. They make an excellent background flower and when mixed with the bright colors of the summer lilies make quite a display.
I love decorating my garden with statues of fairies, and fun little animals. I have a toad house that is under my large Moon Flower and every once in a while I get down and peak inside to see if maybe a burrowing toad might have taken up residency.
In the summer you can see the vivid colors of the Azaleas as they create masses of beauty and fragrance through out the garden. If you will stop and take a deep breath you will enjoy the fragrance of the lavenders that are in the height of their blooming season now.
As we continue to go deeper into my garden you will see the strange flowers of the Passiflora growing in and around the trellises. Over in the corner there is a pond, be very quiet and you may see the red eared sliders sunning on the rocks. Here we will stop and rest while enjoying the many colors and fragrances of all of the flowers that are blooming in the garden.
