Paphiopedilum species and hybrids are often known as "Lady Slippers," due to the shape of the flower. After a spring rain this striking hybrid, Paphiopedilum Honey Dew X Venture shows off the "toe" of the slipper.
   This is a very large flower that will last for weeks on the plant. Bloom time for me is early spring.
